Hotel Andaluz

The lively, comfortable, urban room called Casablanca at Albuquerque's newly updated/renovated
historic downtown Hotel Andaluz Remote link is our home. See information about Casablanca here.

Andaluzshort for Andalucían – evokes the passion and pride of the region of Spain that has inspired the hotel’s décor and architectural style.

Hotel Andaluz has a rich history as a downtown Albuquerque Hotel. It opened in 1939 as the first hotel in New Mexico constructed by New Mexico native Conrad Hilton.

While under renovation, the ownership was determined to incorporate many green initiatives into the building.

  • Furnishings, equipment, and demolition debris were recycled and documented throughout the process
  • The hotel generates approximately 60% of its guest room hot water using solar energy
  • Interior finishes have been carefully selected to incorporate LEED approved natural and low VOC emissions products
